If you do decide to pack yourself please ensure you are ready to go when the van arrives as this is a time constraint industry. We can accept responsibility for damage to items that have been dropped by our staff, not if it is loosely packed, incorrectly labelled or ill prepared for transit. We expect fragile glassware, works of art, or items of a delicate nature to be correctly labelled & separated from the rest in preparation for transit.
We expect adequate parking arranged at the point of collection, during (where theirs more than two stops) & to completion. Please contact the local council to fulfil parking arrangements where necessary; our van requires the equivalent of 2 parking bays (10m allocation). You will incur the parking fine to the final bill accordingly if parking hasn’t been prescheduled.
Kiwi Van & Man is covered for loss or damage up to £10,000 of customers' belongings during transit. Kiwi Man & Van are not liable for the first £50.00 per claim. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure extra insurance is arranged where required. You must note any visible damage, loss of goods prior to, & completion before payment is received.
Payment of £8 (mandatory) required if travelling through the congestion charge
Payment of £50 (mandatory) dump/waste charge.
